One of the remarkable aspects of this process is that black & white photographic materials produce a range of colours when exposed to the ultraviolet rays of the sun. At least 60-90 minutes in sunlight, but feel free to experiment here. However, since a print is generally/necessarily more exposed to light than a negative, any remaining silver complexes will print out faster, darkening the image.
